I know that David Chalmers inspired and took part in a renaissance of thinking about whether conceivability entails possibility, and I taught some of that about five years ago. According to inconceivability maxims, a kind of inconceivability is a guide to impossibility. Just another way of showing that conceivability does not imply possibility. But it seems in some sense conceivable. There are other reasons to reject conceivability and possibility as being co-extensive. I'm still unclear on why logical possibility is so interesting. The question is who might actually do it. Physical possibility, in so far as it is conceivable, is relative to a predictive model. Similarly, there is more than one possible logical system. We might call this a mere conceptual possibility.) I agree that not all conceptual possibilities are metaphysical possibilities. The following should probably be pretty clear to some people.
